PAR Technology
During my time as a Product Marketing Intern at PAR Technology, I played an integral role in the rebranding and competitive positioning of our POS products. I conducted in-depth research for the rebrand of a core product, Pixelpoint 2.0, and performed competitive intelligence on other key players in the POS industry. This analysis enabled PAR to stay informed about competitors’ daily strategies and emerging trends. I contributed to the rebranding of the Brink POS system by studying successful tech industry rebrands, ultimately positioning the new PAR POS as a fresh offering, despite it being primarily a name change. Additionally, I assisted in launching the new POS integration “Pixelpoint 2.0,” which broadened the system’s applications beyond quick-service restaurants to serve table-service venues, casinos, and gas stations, effectively expanding our market reach and addressing diverse client needs. I played a pivotal role in shaping the success of the tech products in the market at PAR. I was responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive product adoption, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction. This experience deepened my understanding of strategic rebranding and product positioning in a competitive tech landscape.
As an intern at Northwestern Mutual, I worked as a financial representative with the DBJ Wealth Management team, managing a range of clients through NM Connect and remote desktop tools. I facilitated client meetings, as well as managed case openings and closures, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. In this role, I acted as a financial planner, guiding clients through various stages of life to help them mitigate market risks and reach their personal financial goals. I utilized CRM software to maintain client records meticulously, tailoring my approach to meet individual needs and provide solutions that addressed both immediate and long-term objectives. Additionally, I earned my Life, Accident, and Health (LAH) license, which allowed me to broaden my advisory capabilities and deliver comprehensive financial planning services. This experience provided me with invaluable skills in client relationship management, risk assessment, and strategic financial planning, further fueling my passion for helping clients achieve financial security.
